Thank you for your time and interest during our meeting last week. Lucerne Publishing’s planned expansion into European and Russian markets is as fascinating as it is challenging.
While the opportunity to participate in this exciting new venture is extremely appealing, I must, unfortunately, withdraw my name from consideration. I had hoped to be able to accept an international assignment, but have recently been offered additional responsibilities in my current position, which will also involve limited travel overseas.
Nonetheless, I want to thank you for allowing me to explore what promises to be a career-making opportunity for the executive fortunate enough to be selected.
