Proposal Acceptance Letter:
Dear Qian(Sarah)Gong:
Thank you for submitting a proposal for a case in the upcoming book, Cases on Online Discussion and Interaction: Experiences and Outcomes. After reviewing your recent proposal, I believe the topic of your proposed case is consistent with the theme of this book and could make a significant contribution to this project. I therefore encourage you to begin preparing your full case and forward a copy to me before June 15, 2009: Full Chapter Submission. Of course, we welcome questions along the way.
I want to add that I was particularly interested in the methodology, though we do not yet know very much about how you carried out the discourse analysis, and I was particularly interested in the ‘quality of deliberation.’ The variables you are working with and the political context are quite fascinating to me.
I have enclosed the "Case Organization Guidelines", which I strongly urge
you to follow in preparing your case, if possible. Should you have any questions
regarding your proposed case, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look
forward to receiving your case. Please note that the headings for organizing the paper suggested in the guidelines should work for you and your paper or we will be flexible on that count.
Sincerely,
Lenny Shedletsky
